With more than 13 years in the communications business, my work experience includes large publishing companies, small social service agencies, national trade associations and local publications. Freelance writing lets me put my skills to work for a variety of clients every day.

I grew up in Houston, but now consider Chicago my home. When I'm not working hard for my clients, I love to spend time goofing off with friends and family, watching movies with my husband (who puts his writing skills to work as a film critic, among other things), and reading works by new novelists.
